Kit Includes:

2 x 5L Part A Bottle

2 x 5L Part B Bottle

Extremely fluid, light amber low odour reactive polyurethane that pours like water into a mould, reproducing the finest details.

It is mixed easily (1:1) and is naturally degassed. Its pot life is 2 minutes. Sets quickly into a firm, durable plastic able to be demoulded in around 15 minutes.

Handy to have for casting models, small figures, jewellery, industrial parts and decorative pieces when poured into a silicone rubber mould.
The exclusive formulation of Solid Cast 660 allows the addition of all types of filler (mineral or metallic) to obtain different aspects, weights and volumes. For example, it is possible to create objects that imitate bronze, aluminium, etc. with the appropriate fillers.

Solid Cast 660 allows the addition of a high filler ratio (up to 200%)

  • Mixing Ratio 1:1 Volume
  • Working time 2 – 2.5mins @ 20° C
  • Extremely fluid
  • Shore hardness 75D
  • Demould: 15 – 40 minutes at 20°C

APPLICATIONS:

Handy to have for casting models, small figures, jewellery, industrial parts and decorative pieces when poured into a silicone rubber mould. Ideal for hobby and craft casting of models and figurines. Excellent for car restoration work, reproducing knobs, switches, trims and general plastic parts. Can be coloured using epoxy pigments, dyes and mica powders.

DIRECTIONS:

Shake both part A and B containers before using. Pour out equal amounts of part A and part B by volume. Mix thoroughly in a straight sided, flat bottomed container with a flat ruler shaped mixing stick, scraping around the sides and base of the container. As the work time is short, mixing should be done in less than one minute. When the two parts are properly mixed the mixture should be streak free and and uniformly light amber colour.

Once mixed, immediately pour in to a silicone rubber mould. Worktime: 2 - 2.5 minutes at 20°C. Demould: 15 – 30 minutes at 20°C. After use immediately replace the caps on the tins as Solid Cast 660 is moisture sensitive.

MIX RATIO:
Mix 1 part A to 1 part B by volume, Example 100ml Part A + 100ml Part B

Product will dry white when cured
