Formasil Xact is a two part silicon-based, precision moulding putty. Due to it’s soft initial consistency, the material can be shaped and pressed over an object to make a plaque mould in around 10 minutes.
General purpose carnauba paste wax which produces excellent gloss and gelcoat compatibility. Essential for breaking in new fibreglass moulds in conjunction with PVA release agent.

Platsil 71-20 is 20 shore A in hardness. Platsil 71 series RTV silicone rubbers are two-component, addition-cure, platinum-catalyzed, high tear strength, flexible mold compounds. They are tough, and have good tear strength, which make them especially valuable to the mold making industry. They are recommended as mold materials for polyester, epoxy, polyurethane resins, waxes and many other materials. Superior to condensation cure or tin cure silicone rubber offering higher chemical resistance and improved dimensional stability.

Polytek offers various additives that can be used to vary the properties of Poly-Silicone rubbers.
PlatSil Gel-10 is a versatile 1:1 mix silicone rubber that cures in 30 minutes to a soft shore A-10 hardness for making molds or for special effects purposes such creating animatronic skins or silicone rubber appliances. When used with up to 250% Smith's Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener, PlatSil Gel-10 can be made to simulate human tissue. This rubber can be accelerated for a more rapid cure, retarded for a slower cure, thickened with a liquid additive for brushing, or softened to obtain a lower Shore A hardness.
Liquid additive for foaming Polyurethanes. Foams created with Part F do not have skins but are useful for filling spaces with less resin than would be required if poured solid.
A powerful catalyst to increase the cure speed of Poly 15 Series polyurethanes, used at up to 1%.
Poly 15-12 - Rigid casting polyurethane for production of transparent parts or for pigmented colour castings. Use for producing decorative objects and parts. For bubble-free, rigid castings, best results are obtained with the use of vacuum and/or pressure. Poly 15-12 may be used for cold cast bronze or other application with dry fillers. For applications requiring long term non yellowing use Poly-optic 14 Series water clear rigid polyurethanes.
Poly 158 - Aluminium filled polyurethane. Easily poured casting system with good thermal conductivity and heat resistance plus accurate dimensional stability. Used for tools, models, patterns, fixtures, duplicate masters, vacuum forming moulds and general tooling use.

Poly 74 and 75 Series Liquid Rubbers consist of Part A and Part B that, after mixing, cure overnight at room temperature to flexible, high strength, mold rubbers. Poly 74 and 75 Series Rubbers make durable, easy releasing molds for casting plasters and waxes without release agents, but when used with proper release agents are also excellent for casting cement, epoxy, polyester, urethane and acrylic.

Also excellent for casting cement, epoxy, polyester, urethane and acrylic with proper release agents. Additives are available to modify cure rate, thickness hardness and standard physical properties.

Softener - For the Poly 74 and 75 Series RTV Liquid Mold Rubbers, Poly 74/75 Part C Softener can be added to the uncured products for a lower viscosity mix and a softer cured rubber. When Part C is used, cure time is longer and there is some loss of strength in the rubber and increased tendency to shrink after repeated castings. To soften Poly 74-30 to a Shore A15, mix 1A:1B:1C, by weight. The quantity of Part C required to soften other products varies and should be determined through experimentation.
Add to Poly 74 or 75 Series Polyurethanes to accelerate the cure. Part X is most useful when making brush-on moulds to decrease the time needed between coats.
Poly 75-75 - Moulding rubbers with high strength and flexibility. Used for making durable easy releasing moulds for casting plasters and waxes without release agents. Also excellent for casting cement, epoxy, polyester, urethane and acrylic with proper release agents. Brush or trowel on versions of these rubbers can be produced by the additions of Aerosil 200. Additives are available to modify cure rate, thickness, and hardness and standard physical properties.
Tough durable polyurethane rubber of 90 shore A hardness . Typical applications are mould facings forming tools, industrial parts, rollers, electrical potting and encapsulation gaskets, engine mounts, pads and bumpers.
This rubber consists of two parts that after mixing cure at room temperature to a flexible, clear rubber. Poly ClearCut 45 is designed for making clear moulds that can be easily cut away from original objects with less chance of damage and better seam positioning. Also perfect as a material for fun flexible objects such as jewellery. Colours can be added to the liquid rubber to make a tinted or coloured, yet still clear, rubber.
Poly Latex 60 is a one-part, brush-on liquid which after multiple coats, drying between each coat, is built up to 1.5mm to 3.5mm thick to form a tough rubber blanket mold, often used for casting plaster, concrete and limited casting with some resins. Should be stored above 18 degress Celsius.
Poly-Optic Resins are two component, water clear, polyurethane casting systems, formulated specifically for application where optical clarity is a must. Their low viscosities and long pot lives allow easy degassing and handling. Selected dyes may be added to each system to obtain clear, coloured castings. All work with Poly-Optics must be done with vacuum and/or pressure in a warm environment. We do not recommend attempting to use Poly-Optic without vacuum or pressure or in an environment below 23.3ºC as poor cures with bubbles may result.
A powerful catalyst to increase the speed of curing for Poly-Optic resins. For best results, mix Parts A and B, degas if required, then add Part 14X and degas again if necessary. Half a percent speeds the cure significantly.
